Hilton Beijing Black Tie Charity Brawl

BEIJING - Hilton Beijing’s debut Black Tie Charity Brawl was an astonishing success with over 200 MMA enthusiasts and 18 world-class fighters on Saturday, November 19th. The MMA Brawl was held in association with Hitman Fighting Inc from the US, was the 8th round of the HITMAN World Championship and filmed for MY COMBAT CHANNEL. Fighters from the US, China, Russia and Austria battled fearlessly on the full size ring beneath the grand chandelier in the center of the stunning Infinity Ballroom. Over 200 spectators indulged in a lavish four-course dinner accompanied by 1421 wines and Chimay beer.
After nine fights, two breath-taking preliminaries, and the final, Qi Binghao, a 20 year old Shandong school boy showed his true potential and won the championship and a ticket to the final in California, USA in 2012. With the support from the audience, the event successfully raised over 60,000 RMB through the charity auction. The profit will be combined with Hilton Beijing’s Christmas Charity fund and donated to Project Hope, in collaboration with China Youth Development Foundation, supporting the teaching facilities at Hope Schools.
“I am only a school boy,” said Qi, the unexpected champion of the night, “and I am really honored to be able to fight with so many top class fighters. Thank you all for giving me this opportunity, and I will bring out my best in the Final next year to win more respect for the Chinese fighters on the world stage!”
