Approximately 41 percent of Americans have a valid U.S. passport, and it turns out, that’s a good thing. Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton (NYSE: HLT), has uncovered that Americans with passports are more likely to be content with their lives than those who do not have passports. Based on this finding, Hilton Hotels & Resorts is launching the Hilton Passport Project to put more passports in the hands of Americans to help them realize the power of travel.

Hilton São Paulo Morumbi celebrates the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation campaign, with the debut of a new “premium” rooms category – 242 fully upgraded guest rooms offering a new accommodation experience for travelers visiting the exciting metropolis. The extensive plan kicked off in 2016 with a refreshed rooftop swimming pool, updated lobby and Caffè Cino coffee shop, and a brand new restaurant – Armazem Morumbi, completing the gastronomic experience at the hotel along with the well-known Canvas Bar & Restaurante.
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of Hilton Yantai, its second Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the northern coastal city. Occupying levels one to six and levels 26 to 41 of the Shimao Skyscraper, a 323-meter tall building in the heart of the city, Hilton Yantai offers stunning city and sea views, and is surrounded by many historical attractions, including Changyu Wine Culture Museum and Yantaishan Scenic Spot.
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced today that ONE UN New York will join the Hilton network as Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza on August 30 as Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ seventh local property. The landmark hotel, situated alongside the United Nations headquarters, has long welcomed both leisure and business travelers, and the world’s most esteemed leaders, diplomats and heads of state. The iconic property is now poised to deliver Hilton’s flagship hospitality to visitors from across the globe. It has completed a $68 million phased renovation since 2012, which preserved the distinctive architecture and layout of the original Kevin Roche-designed building, while upgrading the hotel’s 439 guest rooms and suites, meetings and event spaces, public areas and restaurant.
Since its debut in 2000, Hilton Buenos Aires has provided guests with a cutting-edge experience in architecture and design. Today, the hotel in Buenos Aires’ Puerto Madero neighborhood elevates this experience with the debut of a lobby redesign, and new food and beverage outlets, led by local architecture and interior design firm Estudio Caparra Entelman.
