Wedding Day Diamonds And Hilton Minneapolis St. Paul Airport Create The Perfect Match
Jeweler and Hotel Attract Brides and Grooms with Complimentary Offerings

Minneapolis, MN - Two local businesses that specialize in engagements and weddings have formed a partnership that’s sure to please couples considering their own union. Wedding Day Diamonds, Minnesota’s premier engagement and wedding ring resource, and Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport – Mall of America, Bloomington’s luxury hotel, are offering an irresistible engagement package and incentive programs.
Couples that purchase their engagement ring from any of the five metro-area Wedding Day Diamonds locations and meet with Melissa Heininger (email@example.com), the wedding specialist at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, are invited to celebrate their engagement by experiencing the hotel firsthand. They’ll receive a complimentary one-night stay in a deluxe room and enjoy two beverages and an appetizer at the hotel’s Blue Water Lounge.
“Wedding Day Diamonds offers the most unique and diverse selection of diamonds in the country, and at every price point. We’re Minnesota’s engagement and wedding ring specialists,” said Umit Nasifoglu, co-owner of Wedding Day Diamonds. “We’re also the first retailer in the country to establish the display ring practice. This means that the bride-to-be is the first and only person to wear her ring. We customize her setting and diamond to meet her specifications. Because we display sample diamonds in our cases, we’re able to keep our costs down and that means our customers are rewarded with the savings.”
If the Wedding Day Diamonds customers book their wedding or rehearsal dinner celebrations at the Hilton, they’re invited to chose one of the following complimentary items to enhance their event: a wine pour with their wedding dinner, butler-served champagne, or accommodations for the bride and groom and both sets of parents on the evening of their rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.
“We’ve created this special referral program with the Airport Hilton because of their outstanding service and elegant offerings,” said Umit Nasifoglu, co-owner of Wedding Day Diamonds. “We want our customers to have the perfect wedding celebration, from purchasing their rings to their rehearsal dinner and reception. We know from experience that this is the place for a truly memorable event.” Umit and his wife Michelle had their wedding and reception at the Hilton over 20 years ago. “People still talk about what a wonderful event it was,” raved Michelle. “The hotel staff was very accommodating and impressed us in every way. They made the wedding and dinner very personalized and that’s not always the case when you’re working with a large hotel operation.”
The referral program also rewards Wedding Day Diamonds sales associates and engagement specialists. If their customers meet with the hotel’s wedding specialist, they receive points in their Hilton HHonors account. If the Wedding Day Diamonds customers book their rehearsal dinner and/or wedding reception at the hotel, the sales associates and engagement specialists receive more points based on the size of the booking. They’re invited to redeem their points for Hilton accommodations or other prizes.
According to Shawn Anderson, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport – Mall of America, Wedding Day Diamonds is the only jeweler that his hotel has partnered with. “We’re both committed to providing the best experience to our customers.” Wedding Day Diamonds is currently running in-store commercials about the Hilton program on flat screen TV’s provided by the hotel. The program will run indefinitely.
“We encourage newly engaged couples to experience all that our hotel has to offer and the best way to do so is firsthand,” said Anderson. “Our wedding specialists work with each couple to create the perfect event, no matter how big or small the celebration.” In addition to rehearsal dinners and weddings, the hotel is also the ideal location for bridal showers, gift opening brunches, and anniversaries.
To further enhance the Hilton experience, couples can purchase the hotel’s engagement package. Upon arrival, the couple will receive chilled champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and six long stem red roses. The $160 package also includes dinner for two and a bottle of wine in the Blue Water Grill, the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, with culinary creations from Eric G. Baker, executive chef, and his staff. The following morning, the newly engaged couple will have the option of a breakfast buffet for two in the Blue Water Grill or they can enjoy their meal through room service.
