PHOENIX - Discover the Valley’s hidden gems, from music to unique tastes, during Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort’s “Arizona Confidential” summer event series. This premiere summer experience will feature popular Arizona musical acts Sugahbeat, Groove Merchants, Alice Tatum and the return of Khani Cole, who performed at the resort’s Different Pointe of View for 12 years. In addition, this AAA Four Diamond restaurant will showcase its delectable menu and exclusive wines through exceptional culinary experiences throughout the summer.

Arizona Confidential begins June 24 and continues through Labor Day weekend. Events are open to resort guests and the general public. The schedule of events is as follows:

• Insider’s View Dinner Series at Different Pointe of View – Friday, June 24
  A fresh twist on the typical winemaker’s dinner, Different Pointe of View will showcase its own wine cellar and Master Sommelier, Eric Spragett. The evening begins with a tour of the wine cellar in a cave on the bottom level of the restaurant, and then proceeds with a meal prepared tableside by Chef Anthony DeMuro with wine pairings and education by Sommelier Spragett. Reservations required. $99 per person.
• Kick-off Concert at the Falls with Sugahbeat – Saturday, June 25
  Sugahbeat kicks off the Arizona Confidential concert series with a poolside performance at the Falls Water Village from 5 to 8 p.m. To celebrate the launch of the series, the kick-off concert is free of admission.
• Alice Tatum – Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2
  Award-winning singer Alice Tatum creates an intimate jazz experience at Different Pointe of View for two consecutive nights. Admission for each performance is complimentary for resort guests; $10 for non-resort guests. 8 to11 p.m.
• Fourth of July Concert at the Falls – Sunday, July 3
  Begin the Fourth of July celebrations early with Groove Merchants from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Falls Water Village. Keep cool in the pool while enjoying the tunes and the beginning of a long holiday weekend.
• Sugahbeat Concert at the Falls – Saturday, July 9
  Sugahbeat returns to the Falls Water Village for another upbeat summer concert. The performance is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• MLB All-Star Game Viewing Parties – Sunday, July 10 to Tuesday, July 12
  Watch all of the All-Star events, from the Legends and Celebrity Game to the Homerun Derby and the actual MLB All-Star game, at Pointe In Tyme, the resort’s clubhouse-style sports bar. All six TVs will tune in to the festivities and Happy Hour specials will be extended throughout the evening for each baseball event.
• Insider’s View Dinner Series at Different Pointe of View – Friday, July 29
  Chef Anthony DeMuro will prepare a four-course meal tableside at this intimate event, while sharing the spotlight with Santa Barbara’s popular Consilience Winery. Cooking and wine pairing tips are the discussion of the evening. The dramatic city views are the inspiration. Reservations are required. $99 per person.
• Khani Cole at Different Pointe of View – Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3
  Long-time Valley lounge act and popular Different Pointe of View performer, Khani Cole, returns to create a soulful and melodic evening. Admission for each performance is complimentary for resort guests; $10 for non-resort guests. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Sugahbeat Concert at the Falls – Sunday, Sept. 4
  Ending the summer Arizona Confidential series, Sugahbeat performs poolside at the Falls Water Village for Labor Day Weekend from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
