Phoenix Resort Launches Urban Garden Culinary Experience for Families
Private, Interactive Garden-to-Table Lunches and Dinners Bring Families Together

PHOENIX - Food has always had a powerful way of bringing families together, and now families visiting Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix can enjoy a truly memorable private dining experience with the resort’s executive chef at his urban garden.
The urban garden at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort has been a labor of love for the resort’s Executive Chef Kenneth Arneson for more than two years. Today, the garden is ripe with a diverse array of vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, mung beans and Swiss chard and a robust mix of herbs from dill to lavender. With a personal passion for organic gardening, nutrition and cooking with simple, fresh ingredients, Chef Arneson is now offering families the opportunity to spend an afternoon or evening with him alongside his urban garden for an interactive garden-to-table dining experience.
Menus feature three to four courses and are created entirely from scratch for each family based on what ingredients in the garden are prime for picking. Hosted on the patio next to the urban garden, Chef Arneson will entertain and educate the oldest and youngest of guests with interesting facts and tidbits about everything from gardening to the power of fresh vegetables and herbs.
“Each lunch or dinner I host is entirely unique to each family, from what’s in season in the garden to our conversations about food,” said Chef Arneson. “These dinners will not only create lasting memories, but start the conversation across generations about the power of eating fresh and healthy foods.”
