New Appointments Announced At Hilton Cardiff
The Hilton Cardiff Has Made Two New Additions To Its Management Team To Strengthen Its Position As The City’s Premier Hotel.

CARDIFF, U.K. - Hilton Cardiff has made two new additions to its management team to strengthen its position as the city's premier hotel.
Adam Smith becomes the new operations manager and will be joined by Richard Gandy, the new conference and banqueting manager.
Adam, originally from West Yorkshire, met his Welsh wife whilst studying hospitality management in Swansea and has spent the previous eight years working in a senior management role in the industry. He and his family now live in Cardiff.
He said: “I’m delighted to be working with one of the most prestigious brands in the industry in such a vibrant and dynamic city. With a competitive market fuelled by attractions such as the Millennium Stadium and the new St David’s shopping centre, there really is something for everyone here in Cardiff. I aim to add value to our customers’ experience by ensuring the highest standards of service and comfort for every aspect of our guests stay with us at the Hilton Cardiff.”
Richard graduated from UWIC with a BA in hospitality management in 2005 and returns to the Hilton having initially worked at the hotel five years ago as a banqueting supervisor.
He has spent the last four years working in events operations at Disney World in Florida and said of his new job in Cardiff: “I’ll be responsible for all the events and banquets at the Hilton Cardiff and intend to provide the highest quality of service for all our guests. I love creating a unique and memorable experience for customers and will look to introduce elements of American guest relations to our service here in the Welsh capital.”
Marie Fagan, general manager at the Hilton Cardiff, said: “The hotel has enjoyed continued success over the past 12 months, despite the economic challenges which have presented themselves during that timeframe. Our dedication and commitment to five star customer service has been the main reason for this and both Adam and Richard have the drive and experience to maintain these exacting standards.
