LivingWell welcomes Mrs Australia Globe, Karen Gee as Ambassador

SYDNEY - LivingWell Health Club of Hilton Sydney is proud to announce Mrs Australia Globe, Karen Gee, as its new brand ambassador.
Karen Gee took the coveted Mrs Australia Globe title (the largest National Pageant for Misses in Australia) in September 2011. A celebration of family, culture and inner beauty, Mrs Australia Globe encourages women to step out of their comfort zone, be the best they can be and inspire others to reach for the stars. The pageant raises significant funds for nonprofit organisation, Women In Need Foundation and Karen herself raised funds and awareness for a number of charities during her nine-month journey to the crown.
LivingWell is a health haven in the Sydney CBD and with its 'Personalised Fitness for Life' promise, offers a truly unique service and is a fitness sanctuary that is all about you, your goals and finding a realistic balance to make the most out of life. It is this lifestyle balance and encouraging a positive self image that Karen is set to passionately support for LivingWell.
Karen Gee is married with five children and it was on giving birth to her first child in her early twenties that she embarked on a personal path towards health and wellbeing, believing wholeheartedly that these factors would make her a good role model both at home and at work.
Karen said, "Being a mother to three very energetic boys in my twenties is what kick-started my own journey of self discovery. I have always had an innate need to help and support others, but I realised as a young adult and mother, that I could only do this if I help and love myself first."
Health and wellbeing now embodies Karen's life, managing hectic work schedules and family commitments along the way. Karen makes her health and fitness routine a priority and one that works for her, waking at 5am each morning to fit in valuable 'me' time. It is this shift in mindset that encouraged Karen to pursue her successful Mrs Australia journey, a journey that would allow her to work with those less fortunate, raise funds for charities she is passionate about and encourage others to achieve in their own lives.

As ambassador, Karen, who is an existing member of LivingWell, is set to host member events with special guests and experts across the health and wellbeing arena, offering advice, inspirational tips and motivation to live a healthy, manageable lifestyle. Karen will also support the LivingWell City2Surf team training efforts, the buildup of which coincides with Karen's own path to the Mrs Globe Finals in the USA in August.
Karen said, "I am proud to be a brand ambassador for LivingWell and am committed to playing an integral long term role in supporting the brand's Better Fitness, Better Life philosophy. For me, healthy living plays a vital role in my duties as Mrs Australia Globe, as is promoting positive body image, so this partnership is a perfect fit."
