Hilton Worldwide Partners With Se Ri Pak, World Renowned LPGA and World Golf Hall Of Famer
South Korean Golf Superstar Proudly Dons the Hilton HHonors Logo on the Tee
July 08, 2010
MCLEAN, Va. - With the 2010 U.S. Women's Open in full swing, Hilton Worldwide announced today a new partnership with Se Ri Pak, the world renowned member of the LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame. The South Korean golf sensation first hit the scene as an LPGA rookie in 1998 and went on to win two of the Tour's four major championships in her first year. Ms. Pak, who won her 25th LPGA title at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic earlier this year, will proudly wear the Hilton HHonors logo on the right side of her hat at all remaining professional golf events in 2010.
"I am an active Hilton HHonors loyalty program member, and it brings me great pleasure to be able to show my support and appreciation of the many HHonors benefits I receive, during each competition this year on the golf course," said Ms. Pak. "Over the years I have found my home away from home at many of Hilton Worldwide's hotels, and I know I can trust that I will receive the best customer service at each hotel."
In addition to supporting Hilton HHonors during her golf tournaments throughout the remainder of 2010, Ms. Pak will continue to participate in three City of Hope charitable fundraising events presented by Hilton Worldwide, the first of which was the Celebrity Golf Invitational at La Quinta Resort & Club on June 5. Future appearances will be at the second City of Hope Qualifying event at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando on September 25th, and the third at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles on October 11-13th, where she has previously hosted a private golf clinic with her swing coach, Thomas Creavy. Ms. Pak will also speak at the Hilton Golf Academy Alumni event, open to all past Hilton Golf Academy attendees this fall.
"As we continue to show our support of the game of golf, we are honored to align our leading hotel loyalty program with Ms. Pak. Not only is she one of the most-respected and well-known LPGA players of all time, her winning attributes, unwavering dedication to her craft and her drive for excellence are attributes Hilton Worldwide can proudly stand behind," said Jeff Diskin, Senior Vice President, Global Customer Marketing, Hilton Worldwide. "Our Hilton HHonors team is dedicated to finding new ways to provide members with more value stay after stay. The program offers more than 1,500 exclusive member-only specials each year, and we have partnerships with some of the best brands in the business with which to earn or redeem points to assure that on each trip our guests achieve the maximum level of value per dollar."
This partnership announcement is in line with a current Hilton HHonors golf offering. Now through September 6, 2010, members can enter the Hilton HHonors Golf Sweepstakes to win a roundtrip vacation with three of their friends to Scotland, Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, Phoenix or Orlando. Grand Prize winners will also receive 100,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points and the opportunity to play 54 holes on Golf Digest's top-ranked courses. First Prize winners will receive a brand-new 2010 Burner SuperFast TaylorMade driver, 2010 Adidas TOUR360 4.0 shoes and 50,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points.
