Hilton Strathclyde Appoints Carlo Capaldi as New Hotel Manager

BELLSHILL, UK - Hilton Strathclyde has announced that hospitality professional Carlo Capaldi will join the hotel as new general manager.  With over 20 years experience in the hospitality sector, Capaldi joins Hilton Strathclyde having previously held the position of director of operations at Swallow Hotels.

In his new role, Capaldi will manage the day-to-day activities of the 111-room hotel, which is located between Glasgow and Edinburgh at Strathclyde Business Park in Bellshill. His responsibilities will include supervision of Hilton Strathclyde's 130 team members across all areas including food and beverage, front of house, housekeeping and conference and banqueting.  

Capaldi's appointment follows a £400k refurbishment and replacement of the hotel's traditional ground floor food and beverage spaces with a lounge area, designed to be more conducive to both business and social gatherings.
