Hilton Newark/Fremont To Provide A Drop Off Station For Critically Needed Donations For The Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief

NEWARK, Calif. -  Hilton Newark/Fremont has joined forces with their vendors and local suppliers to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster. We are encouraging the entire Hospitality Industry and the local community in the Bay Area to help support this effort.

Hilton Newark/Fremont is partnering with the Giving Children Hope foundation and the American Red Cross to deliver critically needed supplies and donations to the people of Haiti. They are still in desperate need of the following items: tents, clothing for men, women, and children, non perishable foods, and medical supplies. With the help of our business partners in the local area, we are creating a one stop location for Bay area residents and businesses to get involved by donating supplies or making monetary contributions during this special event. Volunteers will be on hand from 9:00am until 6:00pm both days to assist with donations and preparing these items for immediate shipment to the affected area. Additionally, the Hilton Newark/Fremont will donate 1% of its profits from their Valentines Day weekend reservations as well as over 300 blankets and other critical items to help with this relief effort.
