BOSTON - In honor of the bicentennial anniversary of the War of 1812 and the return of the majestic tall ships to the city of Boston, the AAA Four Diamond Hilton Boston Logan Airport will offer a Big Trips to Tall Ships package with rates starting at $265 for a limited time. The package, geared towards families traveling with kids, includes overnight accommodations, a customized local guide to kid-friendly happenings, and welcome amenity perfect for a day of exploration.

The Big Trips to Tall Ships package is available from June 28 through July 4, which is also during Boston's annual Harborfest celebration. Accommodations can be reserved for up to four guests in each room. Rates are subject to availability and do not include taxes, gratuities or incidental charges.

Boston Harborfest is an annual, seven-day Fourth of July Festival that showcases Boston's heritage as the cradle of the American Revolution. From reenactments to concerts and historical tours, this festival honors the past as we celebrate the present. Now considered one of the largest patriotic celebrations in the nation, visitors can enjoy over 200 events - some of which offer free admission - concentrated between historic downtown, the waterfront districts and on Boston's City Hall Plaza. The most anticipated event of the festival is the Fourth of July Concert on the Charles River Esplanade. Here, the Boston Pops will present a live, one-hour spectacle complete with special guests, fireworks and a performance of the 1812 Overture featuring church bells and even cannons.

This year, Harborfest will focus on Navy Week as well as the bicentennial anniversary of the War of 1812 with the U.S.S. Constitution as the focus. On Saturday, June 30, four international tall ships will arrive at Boston's Fish Pier. Public viewing opportunities will be available from June 30 through July 5 with the ships departing on July 6. In honor of Independence Day, the U.S.S. Constitution, the world's oldest active warship, will disembark for its annual sail as Blue Angels and other military aircraft fly over head.
