Hilton Baltimore Continues Strong Commitment to City’s CollegeBound Foundation with Second $200,000 Contribution
City’s Convention Hotel Pledges 15-Year, $3-Million Contribution to Help Baltimore City Students Advance Their Education

BALTIMORE, Md. - Upon its one-year anniversary, Hilton Baltimore reinforced its commitment to the CollegeBound Foundation by issuing its second installment of a $200,000 annual contribution to the non-profit organization. In total, Hilton Worldwide has made a 15-year, $3 million commitment to CollegeBound programs.
To launch their partnership and recognize the first group of scholars, the CollegeBound Foundation, which works exclusively with Baltimore City students to help them achieve a post-secondary education, and Hilton Baltimore held their first joint Annual Scholars' Luncheon in July to honor the Hilton Scholars and raise money for the Foundation.
Hilton Baltimore's contribution of $200,000 annually will help launch a program through the Foundation to increase educational opportunities for Baltimore students who are pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. The luncheon also honored and celebrated the accomplishments of the organization's students with over 540 attendees. As CollegeBound's only annual fundraiser, proceeds were designated toward the expense of higher education for students enrolled in CollegeBound programs.
